This morning we sat on Mommy's lap while she had breakfast and read a little of Poison Study. We heard that she is designing us a cat tower and cat wait to sink our claws in it!

Cat Tunnel Sofa showcased by Modern Cat

This is possibly one of the coolest things I have ever seen! What a great way to incorporate your feline's play into your furniture without having to worry about them tearing it up!I would be the sleeve could be recovered endlessly.
This makes me want to put together an entire room designed with felines in mind, in an attractive way, of course! This could be a fun project!
I found this over at Modern Cat .

The Laundry Hamper
So the cats love the laundry hamper so much that I almost see no need to get a scratching post. Except I can see that they are unraveling it slowly and in the near future I will be left with a pile of hemp and a naked wooden box...
They scratch it, jump on it, jump from it to other things, wait for my while I shower, and even sleep there.

Kitty Cuddles
We don't get to sleep in bed with mommy, but we get to snuggle until lights-out. There is something about being in that snugly forbidden place that fills our hearts with love and makes us want to hug (unless we are running rampant and tearing up things...)

Cats Meet Dogs
My kittens have discovered a sacred spot that pays homage to all the felines that have gone before them... a sunny window sill. When mother works in the yard the two cats sit in the window and stare at the three chihuahuas in the yard "helping" Mom garden.
These tiny dogs, though they may look vulnerable and frail, never tire of ceaselessly barking at my sweethearts- and so I devised a plan. We had a cookout Sunday and mother brought the dogs to meet the cats. Noses were rubbed and tails were sniffed. There was some hiding and little chasing, but everyone got along pretty well up close- no barking at least.
It was wonderful hanging out with the family. My aunt, Gael, introduced the cats to some fuzzy mice toys that they have played with non-stop since she left Sunday. And the cats napped hard, even with all the company we had (even shy little Lux- amazing) It was a lovely weekend.

A Quote: Looking for Alaska by John Green
"I wanted to be one of those people who have streaks to maintain, who scorch the ground with their intensity. But for now, at least I knew such people, and they needed me, just like comets need tails."

Everyone knows what CURIOSITY did to the cat...
Lux makes a bed out of a tool bag and Trouble lounges in a baby car seat. They have to check everything out!

Trouble |
She watches me get ready every morning from her perch on the porcelain throne. When I look her way she paws the air begging me to reach down and pet her. It is irresistible and certainly contributes to making it difficult to leave the house every morning.
